Hours:

Room Prefab References: ~2 hrs

Trying to fix grail randomizer: ~1.5 hrs

Build hell meeting: ~3 hrs

Total: ~5.5 hrs.


Positive: -I don't know. I firmly decided The Wire is marginally better than The Sopranos due to a its scope and multi-threaded narrative?



Negative: -Room prefabs have far too many "cooks in the kitchen". Everyone is overwriting everyone else's progress, and generally for marginal gains.

-While the new level generator is leaps and bounds better than the old one in every conceivable way, switching this late was simply silly.

-We've bent all the code for, 18 weeks now technically, to work within the confines of the old one. Introducing a new one week 19 boosted performance but broke a lot of stuff that then needed to be reworked.
