Positive
I got to work on the Ice and Fire Grail designs that I needed to do last week and catch up a little bit from last week's work.
Negative
I was suddenly given the task of implementing the art assets that Mia and Nazifa created to place into the game and that really interrupted the work I was planning to do this week. I didn't want to do this as it would require more work than just placing assets in by replacing old assets with new ones and I would need to study how they currently work in the project as I was not familiar with it at all. Seeing as I haven't even touched and opened the project yet, it really used up a lot of my time and it didn't help that there were extra files and objects in the project that were simply obsolete and file and folder naming structure being completely wack and nonsensical.
Unfortunately, I wasn't given any choice seeing as my work and skillset was deemed "not a priority," so I had to spend several hours across three days to fix the file and folder naming structure a little bit, but not totally. I eventually finished the implementation and I made it so that in the future, it would be significantly faster and easier to implement assets and the file and folder naming structure was clearer for faster access and easier understanding.
Upcoming
I still need to create Light Grail designs for the team to provide feedback on. I'm going to continue on the font choices and use them for purposes like changing the title/heading text and regular text on documents and communications and updating the logo to use a more Gothic steampunk font.
